Animals don't want to die

This is what the end looks like for animals in the slaughter line. They are aware of what awaits them, they are scared, they don't want to die. They hear the sounds of their peers being slaughtered inside and want to escape. But they can't.

I can just imagine all the fear and stress that these animals live throughout their lives, the filthy conditions in which they are raised, the hormones, the antibiotics, and on the transportation to slaughter, the abuse, the pain, the complete disregard to their basic rights as sentient beings.

And people call this FOOD???? People who eat their flesh are eating MISERY.

Annoying?

Pampering to the masses, and just when everything is going well... the vegan speaks?

Reminds me of constant real life situations where I end up bringing the "but..." when everyone else is in consent. If people consider it to be annoying then maybe try to put yourself in our place. How's for everyone agreeing on doing something you profoundly dislike? More than annoying I can tell you.

Just last week, on a sleepover at my house, my friends and I decided to go get some snacks to eat while watching our movies. Suddenly, none of the things they wanted to try was appealing to me. Pudding, jell-o, cream cheese, etc. I wouldn't mind them eating them in front of me, I've got my chilly nachos, popcorn, or peanut butter and jelly toast to enjoy. But somehow they felt it wouldn't be "fair" for them to eat in front of me, as if somehow I would feel deprived.

I insisted, but they didn't believe me LOL. So unfortunately, the ones being deprived ended up being them. Bummer?

Blog neglection

I just realized I hardly ever use my blog anymore.
I neglect it so bad it isn't even funny.
I wonder if anyone reads it though.

Anyone?

Ignorance is Bliss

Never had it clearer than this.

People never like to see how animals are abused/killed.
It shocks them. Makes them cry. And say they can't stand it.

However, they don't seem to care about eating the corpse, as long as they don't have to kill it. Sure it got abused, tortured and butchered just for them. But as long as they didn't have anything to do with it... it's fine.

How pathetic. To feel bad about something, but still take part in it. To think something is disgusting, but still be sponsoring it.

I couldn't bare it. So I stopped contributing.

How can you still be a part of it? You're just as guilty as the man who slits the cow's throat.

Picture that on your dinner tonight.

How would YOU Feel?

Would you like to live in a cage?
Would you like to be constantly impregnated just to produce milk?
Would you like to be used in vivisection experiments?
Would you like to be skinned alive?

Well guess what? Neither do them, but they are. Because you don't care about them.

Animal Abuse: Nothing New under the sun

I woke up this morning to an E-mail from a friend. Barry Lovelace.

He is a Vegan Fitness Professional. And he wrote to me to share the news about YET AGAIN another beef packaging plant that was sanctioned for animal abuse.

Shocker!

This things always happen. I fin it incredibly stupid that people act like this is SO WRONG OMG but it has being happening for AGES!

They worry when they find out about sick, crippled and downed animals still being electrocuted, beaten to get up to the slaughter line... Because many people will ENJOY the taste of their sick and diseased flesh.

Disgusting!

People, with every meat you eat, you are SPONSORING this cruelty. When are you gonna wake up? If people in meat plants are mean, it's because YOU are paying them to do it.

Truth is, you are eating the corpse of an abused and tortured animal. Deal with it.
